April 6 -- Briggs and Stratton Corp. plans to open a warehouse
and distribution center in a former ATandT building in the 4300 block of North
Richards Street in Glendale.
The plan will be discussed by the Glendale Plan Commission
Monday night.
Nanette Behrens, representing the property owner Phoenix
Investors, said Briggs and Stratton (NYSE: BGG) will lease the
200,000-square-foot warehouse. She was not able to offer additional details on
the company’s plans for the building.
Briggs and Stratton, based in Wauwatosa, produces engines for
outdoor power equipment including lawnmowers, generators, pumps and pressure
washers.
