WAUWATOSA,
Wis., July 29 -- Briggs and Stratton Corporation has recently added Shaunna
Balady to their executive team as Vice President of Corporate Development.
Balady will lead the mergers and acquisitions team, as well as strategic
planning activities for the company.

Balady
comes to Briggs and Stratton from GE Home and Business Solutions, where she was
the Business Development Leader with primary responsibility in overseeing all M and A
activity for the business unit, while formulating the Business' external growth
roadmap. Balady also served in strategic planning and acquisition positions at
Rockwell Automation and CNH Global. Over
her career, she has led and completed over 30 transactions which include
product, service and software related deals.
